FOV feels way too wide — what are sane defaults?

I keep FOV around 8–12 for rifles, smooth in the 6–10 range depending on ping. Head bone looks obvious fast — body or upper chest reads more natural at medium range.

Visible check ON unless you are testing in an empty server. It stops locks on players behind concrete and metal walls, which is most of the stupid deaths.

Sane starting point for player aimbot: visible check enabled, FOV 10, smooth 8, max distance capped to your engagement range, hold-to-aim keybind instead of toggle.

Puppet aimbot can run slightly wider FOV because puppets move predictably — still keep smooth above 5. Document your values in a config profile so you are not retuning every launch.

Distance cap is underrated. I set max distance to 120m for bolt actions and 80m for SMGs. Stops the aimbot from caring about someone on a hill 300m away.

If FOV still feels wide after lowering it, check you are not stacking misc no-recoil with aggressive smooth — the combo looks robotic even when FOV is small.

Separate profile for CQC bunkers: FOV 6, smooth 10, visible check on, keybind on side mouse button. Slower but fewer snap deaths when peeking angles.

Dropped FOV to 10, smooth 8, visible on — night and day difference. Saving as "rifle-main" profile. Appreciate the starting numbers.
